Connection objectives
Each objective below pairs a common connection priority with indicators typically available for a catchment. Adapt them to the study’s goals and data. For every indicator listed, higher values mean higher priority.

| Trips to the subject | Modeled trips between each unit and the subject. |
| Overall travel demand | All modeled trips starting or ending in each unit. |
| Equity communities | Low-income household share, people of color share, and the greater of the 65-and-over or under-20 share. |
| Transit-reliant households | Zero-vehicle household share and low-income household share. |
| Job centers | Work-trip destinations. |
| Schools | School-trip destinations, as a proxy for enrollment. |
| Commercial areas | The greater of commercial or entertainment building-footprint share. |
